enforcement agencies, private organizations, and individual
citizens in a massive effort to reduce residential crime. Neighbors
work together to help prevent crime in their communities. But
Neighbor Helping Neighbor goes far beyond that. Neighbors get
to know each other and help each other prepare for emergencies
and disasters. Who would help that elderly person in your
community in the event of a disaster? Do children know where to
run in your neighborhood for a safe haven? Neighbor Helping
Neighbor/Neighborhood Watch can help to create safer
communities.
